Situated in Fortitude Valley, the renovation featured open-plan layouts for staff, complemented by a series of private offices for management. A spacious front-of-house area was designed, encompassing a boardroom, multiple meeting rooms, staff breakout zones, and a kitchen.
The contract was awarded on an ECI basis, with Kwenzi overseeing negotiation and cost management. Kwenzi provided comprehensive quantity surveying services, including cost planning and management.
Various options were explored, and stringent value management measures were implemented to ensure the project remained within WorkPac's initial budget parameters. Close collaboration with designers and consultants was crucial to uphold budgetary constraints throughout the project duration.
Our client was in the due diligence phase of acquiring an office building in Sydney. We prepared an asset register based depreciation schedule to help them model their after tax returns on the proposed investment.
The asset had undergone several refurbishments and an extensive expansion and we were able to successfully identify and quantify the allowances relating to those works.
Our client had recently moved into 88 Phillip Street and was required by the landlord to provide a tax depreciation schedule detailing the assets paid for by the fitout contribution.
We were able to meet a very tight deadline in order for the landlord to release the final payment to the contractor.
